This Blog is primarily a photoblog documenting what I see when I drive around in New Orleans. My photography consists of both 'photography as art' and photography of art.' My focus here is primarily the latter; there is so much to see and show in New Orleans that I don't get around to taking that many artsy pictures.

Some work in the Bywater.
I will live in the Bywater at some point. Pictured above is a reader, as well as some work by artists who I unfortunately cannot put a name to. The X with the numbers and letters is a metal sculpture over the one spraypainted on the building by first responders during Katrina. The numbers tell many things such as the date the structure was searched, who searched it, and who was inside; both alive and dead. I don't know the codes involved, so all I know is this building was searched on the 6th of september. I have seen much later dates in other places.
The white car was apparently stuck. There was lots of noise and commotion around it.
